Travel insurance
If you buy a package holiday from a tour operator or through
a travel agent, it will be a condition of the booking that
you have adequate travel insurance. If you are making your
own arrangements to travel abroad, whether or not you buy
travel insurance is up to you – but it makes sense
if you do not want to find yourself out of pocket as a result
of serious holiday mishaps. If you are staying in the UK,
it is unlikely that you will need travel insurance.
